English National Ballet School is the proud recipient of One Dance’s prestigious Dance Healthcare Team award. The healthcare and performance support at ENBS includes the following for all students:

Injury Prevention & Screening Programmes: At the beginning of the year, every student is screened for issues with flexibility, strength, or technique, and these are addressed with an individual exercise programme. The School also offers Vitamin D and cardiac screening.

Physiotherapist:  Daily access to a specialist physiotherapist who examines, diagnoses and if necessary, provides treatment including soft tissue, manual therapy, taping, acupuncture and exercise-based rehabilitation.

Strength and Conditioning:  Fitness group sessions and in addition, male students have upper body strengthening sessions to allow them to develop the strength needed for lifting. One-on-one or small groups to work strength and conditioning sessions are also offered to those recovering from injury.

Pilates:  Weekly Pilates classes and in addition, students can book one-on-one or in small groups to work on their issues. Pilates rehab is also offered to students coming back from an injury.

Performance Psychologist: Classes with a performance psychologist to learn about coping strategies and goal setting. In addition, students can book a one-on-one appointment with a performance psychologist to talk about personal issues they may have.

Nutritionist:  Group classes with a nutritionist to learn and talk about the role that healthy nutrition plays in improving health and performance. In addition, students can book one-on-one appointments with the nutritionist.

Students also have access to a counsellor and massage therapist.
